Peacock - my little pony by puush Peacock - my little pony by puush
Peacock inspirem my little pony custom made for :iconpairofwings: in the peacock swap at the Arena.

She started as a Wysteria II I found on a flea market.
I sculpted wings that are removable (as I planned a corset as well, but thought it would be too much on her) and a mask and tail feathers, painted her in a very dark metallic indigo blue and used blue and pink of a colour-family called flip-flop in Germany. It's mailny used for cars and change colour depending on what angle you look at it. It's a stunning effect and was really worth the money.
Her eyes are bright green and golden and she's sealed with Mod Podge Matte and all the shiny parts and her eyes are glossy sealed. The three feathers that hang from her mask are attached with very thin braided After Midnight ponyhair. (What took forever and was done not by me, but by my friend who loves to help and play with ponys. Thank you hon.)

Hair colours are dollyhair Hematite, Ultraviolet, Poison Ivy, Key Lime, Golden Goddess, Bobby Blue, After Midnight, and I think Pacific Ocean.

since you redid the pony instead of throwing it away to get a knew one you kind of recycled it

creepy? hm, yes, maybe. She's quite dark and the green eye might be a bit unsettling. But she's very kind, be asured! :3

She was made for a swap, s she was for free. But a custom like this would cost about 70 Euro. :)

I'm so happy that you like my customs. :#1:

One of my favorites from that swap. I love how you did the eyes, and the tail feathers are so unique. I also love the colors with the black base. Very awesome :)

Looks stunning. I like the fact that she is a darker version of a peacock pony as it makes her more unique.

Thank you. She appears to be nearly black but it's a dark shimmery indigo. I love that colour. I don't know why I'm always on the dark side of ponys. *lol*

I love the sculpting and paint job on the sculpting. I don't like the orange and bright green in the hair though. I think it detracts from the overall darkness of the pony. But overall you did a good job.

Thank you. I was troubled with the hair a lot but used a real peacock feather as a ref and that was all colours that come from it. I thought about changing it later because of the reasons you stated but decided to keep it to give it some contrast.

I really like the hair blend. I actually love the last section as I feel it lifts the pony a little. I like ponies which are a little darker, but don't forget their origins so retain either some cute factor or some colour. This pony has that balance perfect and I would pat yourself on the back for how she turned out.
